Volunteers needed. We are planning a reunification exercise to enhance our district's emergency preparedness. This exercise will simulate an emergency and practice the student-parent reunification process. What we need. Volunteers to act as students and volunteers to act as parents. November 20th 2025. 8am-1pm at School Board of Educations Services Facility 2700 Judge Fran Jamieson Way, Viera FL 32040. If you are interested in volunteering please complete the Reunification Exercise Form by October 31. Your Participation will make a significant difference in enhancing our emergency preparedness.

As a reminder, temporary status from the prior year may be used for the first 30 days of the new school year. The last day for students to eat on temporary status is September 22nd. Full pay status will resume on September 23rd.

The City of Palm Bay Fire Rescue will be hosting a community event, “Fire Rescue N’ Cones,” on Monday, September 15, 2025, from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM at the Dairy Queen on Malabar Road.

This free, family-friendly event offers children the opportunity to enjoy complimentary ice cream cones while meeting and interacting with local Firefighters and First Responders in a relaxed and welcoming environment.

We have attached two versions of the event flyer and would greatly appreciate your support in helping us promote this event. If possible, could you post the flyer around the school or share it with parents? Your assistance in spreading the word would be invaluable as we aim to encourage strong community participation.

BPS High School Students are invited to join the Content Creator Club. This is a CTE and District initiative, staff experts will organize and coordinate with a group of interested students to create school-themed social media content for the district pages. (Particularly Instagram Reels/Posts). See Flyer for more information.

The Florida Department of Education is seeking parent and guardian input to enhance services under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). If your child has an Individualized Education Plan (IEP) or an Individual Family Service Plan (IFSP), please complete the following survey to help us improve our services. If you have more than one child with an IEP, please complete one survey for each child. The information gathered remains anonymous and will be used to inform support and resources for parents and students with IEPs. Results will be compiled at the district and school level.
