THS students had the opportunity to attend Construction Career Days, and event designed to give students hands-on experience with the MANY careers in the construction industry.  Careers include equipment operators, marketing teams, engineering, and land surveying. Our THS students were phenomenal participants who gained real-world insight into careers in construction, operated heavy machinery, and spoke to current industry professionals. Thank you, FDOT, - Titusville High School looks forward to returning next year!

THS is celebrating literacy this week as we Build A Terrier Legacy. This week is Literacy Week! Join in the spirit week and participate daily in the FOCUS book trivia. Today was "Building Careers" and dress like any career. Help build the literacy wall brick-by-brick by making a book spine of your favorite. Stop by the media center during your lunch! Tuesday, tomorrow, is "Building Character." At the LLD Scholars Fair, 2 students received 1K scholarships to EFSC: Jaden Panei & Anaya Strange. Eric Echols received a 12K scholarship. Anaya received a scholarship worth 36K. Our HUGE scholarship recipient was Elena Ditterline with a FULL RIDE scholarship worth 102K!

Seniors: if you plan on attending a two-year or four-year college, a trade school, or technical program, you need to complete the FAFSA: Free Application for Federal Student Aid. Mrs. Hanson is hosting a FAFSA boot camp night on February 18th in the media center at 6:00 PM. Join us as a representative from Keiser University walks students AND parents through the application process and troubleshoots any issues. In order to complete the FAFSA on February 18th, the student AND one parent must create a Federal Student Aid ID by February 15th! Congratulations to Brooke Vorhees as she captured her 100th career goal last night against the Eau Gallie Commodores. Simply amazing! Way to go, Brooke! 

First Annual North Brevard Prom Closet event on March 29th. Hosted by Titusville Area Chamber of Commerce and Titusville YMCA. Free event for students to 'shop' for their favorite outfit at no expense to them. Donations are being accepted through March 15th.

Attention Students: The College and Career Center in room 1-131 is now open during lunches! Mrs. Hanson is holding open office hours during all three lunches, so be sure to stop by if you have a question. Students can also eat lunch while completing applications, researching careers, or just catching up with friends.
